The mission of the OAE Portal
is to represent all aspects of OAE research and related developments
till today. Nevertheless the OAE topic is quite vast and not
all aspects (clinical, biophysical, technical) can be represented
with an equal efficiency. For this reason we have decided to accept
contributions (PowerPoint lectures and white papers) on topics which
according to our opinion might be useful to the OAE community. The
contributions do not have to be in a rigorous "scientific format"
, as we know that a significant number of users do not possess a
particularly broad scientific background , but they have to represent
information on an interesting OAE topic.
As of December 2003, The policy for the publication
of white papers and on-line communications (powerpoint point material
included) has changed, in order to ensure a higher
quality standard of the material presented in the Portal. Any material
to be presented (except invited editorials from well known experts)
should have been published in an impact factor peer-reviewed
journal. The material included in the powerpoint
presentations should have been presented in international
or well-known national congresses.
BASIC FORMAT od submitted material:
- The PowerPoint presentations can contain a MAX of 100
slides. Material (mainly graphs / photos) that has been published
previously by the submitting author or by other authors, must
be indicated on the slide as " copyright .......author or journal
.... year".
- The White papers can contain a MAX of 6 pages
. Can be submitted or as Word files (windows format) or
as HTML files.
A word of caution: The material of the OAE Portal which
is published in INTERNET becomes public domain. Although
we ask users to notify us when they copy material , undoubtedly
there is always the possibility of people copying without notifying
us. Therefore, if you are concerned about copyright issues, please
use in your presentations material you have already published.
We strongly suggest to submit your contributions by an email attachment
to this address, but you
can always send a disk or a CD-ROM to the address below:
